the community health initiative haiti has been making trips to the island nation since 2012 to offer free medical and dental care. volunteers travel there five times a year and offer a week long clinic. the trip was already scheduled, but now they're planning to bring extra supplies to help people impacted by the hurricane. the gr director says the area where they work didn't get hit as hard as expected.
