here's a look at the chicago lakefront being battered by strong winds at this point. there you see the big storm. that is sandy and is still centered in pennsylvania right now. there is rain moving into parts of northern indiana as you can see right there. nice weather out in the planes but the whole pattern is kind of blocked. we have several more days of 40 degree temperatures. 45 at o'hare now. note the shoreline temperature down in the '40's for the first time this season. here is what is ahead in temperatures. going down into the thirties tonight and back up into the '40's tomorrow. factor in the wind and look what it does to a wind chill. even some teens in northwest illinois. there is our upper air pattern which remains pretty blocked right now as sandy dominates. 48 degrees is the forecast for tomorrow.
