we can already see how the campaign will be responding to this hillary clinton meeting with the fbi as well as the meeting with bill clinton and loretta lynch, the personal meeting they're calling it in the clinton campaign. they're trying to say the system is rigged, that there's one set of rules for politicians, people like the clintons and another set of rules for regular folks. we've already seen them put f d forward this argument that she's not trustworthy. what's interesting is after this meeting with the fbi, i'm told the trump campaign came up with a pretty hard-nosed statement responding to this meeting. they were going to run it by donald trump himself, but for some reason that statement never came out, only the statement from the rnc. it's interesting that they didn't capitalize on that momentum yesterday. it could be that they're waiting until tuesday to really go after her for this meeting with the fbi. again, the meeting between bill clinton and loretta lynch and also her submitting to a meeting with the fbi plays into the narrative that donald trump has been trying to paint, that hillary clinton is not somebody that can be tr

now of course donald trump hitting bill clinton for the meeting i had earlier this week with loretta lynch out in phoenix. both of their planes were on the tarmac at phoenix international airport and bill clinton popped over in an impromptu meeting to say hello to loretta lynch. boo all accounts it was a social call but one that drew a lot of scrutiny because of course loretta lynch is in charge this e-mail investigation into hillary clinton's private e-mail server. we just heard from an aide to bill clinton -- bill clinton's camp weighing in on this meeting. i want to show that. saying the president's conversation with the attorney general was unplanned and was entirely social in nature. but recognizing how others could take another view of it, he agrees with the attorney general that he would not do it again. of course loretta lynch saying just yesterday that she would not have him come over and make that social call where they talked about their grandkids. and you know, it's important to kind of take a step back, too. we have a lot of reaction here, briana. also, what does this intervie

the former president bill clinton on the tarmac. she talked just days before the f.b.i. director stepped before the microphone and essentially let hillary clinton off the hook. loretta lynchd the department of justice had no plans to pursue any legal action against hillary clinton. we spoke with the chairman of the house judiciary committee, bob goodlatte, and got a sense of where they are going to go with the questions. bill: if you go back to the testimony at benghazi last fall, the question came up to the f.b.i. director, did she lie to congress. he said that was not part of our investigation. but the f.b.i. concluded there were thousands of work-related emails her lawyers did not turn over. and a handful of those emails turned out to be marked classified at the time. that was the f.b.i.'s conclusion. so there will be a question today as to whether or not there should be an investigation on whether she lied to congress. >> those questions have so many people scratching their heads. they are trying to figure out how you can sit in front of congress and with carefully parsed language and say nothing that was sent or received was marked classified. then you have the f.b.i
