i also went to all the mta meetings for potrero avenue. the way they work, they come in and they say, we want to improve the situation. let's break down into groups. so wie break down into groups and then we talk about what we want, what we need, and so then we all go away and then about two, three months later they come back and they say, we have a plan for you. what do you think of this? of course after the first meeting there is no discussion. we cannot ask questions. they come, they give it to us, they give us little dots, vote on this, have the vote on this, vote on this. and they don't address any of our concerns, thank you for helping us with this big plan and i'm always standing there saying i didn't want that big plan. it's like somebody else took over. like on the case of potrero avenue, the bicycle coalition showed up. i talked it a woman who lived in the marina who had never ridden her bike down potrero avenue but, man, she was for that program. in terms of mta on mission street when we did have votes people were so angry and mt
