the latest path we have from the national hurricane center shows it pretty interesting. storm actually veering to the north, gaining strength, becoming a category 2 hurricane, moving right off the coast of louisiana and then staying off the coast as you get into wednesday and back into thursday, just downgrading to a tropical storm and into a depression. not expect ed to make landfall for the time being. that is not a time to be comfortable if you happen to live along the gulf coast, louisiana, alabama and into florida. the hurricane season ends at the end of november. if you have that hurricane preemdness kit, get it ready. the season isn't over and this storm may come calling. around the rest of the nation, high pressure will be your biggest feature in the southeast. plenty of blue skies, sunshine, mild conditions through much of texas. western half of the great lakes, scattered showers possible for the upper midwest. back to the pacific northwest, of course. may see some heavy snowfall in the cascades. i'm reynold wolf for hln. >>> what do you think? can you get in tro
