in new this morning the national transportation safety board is holding a hearing today in washington d.c. on performance airplane safety. what they will be discussing is the september 16th crash at the reno national championship air race. that crash killed a pilot and 10 spectators and 70 people were hurt when the plane crashed into the stand. we have video of the aftermath of the crash. officials hope this will give the ntsb a better understanding of the regulations, protocols and practices of airshows. there were at 8 erases and airshow accidents last year. here is a live look at the james lick freeway in san francisco. the traffic is like in the temperatures are cool. james says do not hold onto any more hope of any rain. we will talk about their right here on the kron4 morning news.
