the pro bowl roster. as i said, maybing five bucs players on the way to hawaii. what a chance now for him to soak in a week around some of the nfl's veteran players and hawaii's not too slab by either. now the problem a lot of fans have, it's hard to tell a legitimate pro bowl player from a guy who got a last-minute phone call. i don't care where he stood on the replacement list, he doesn't get the call if he's not deemed a worthy player. the issue is the pro bowl itself. more than 35 players voted in are not playing. and we excuse the panthers and broncos of course, but the game itself is a dud with a capitol d and arguably the worst all- star game of the major pro sports. i doubt many fans would cry if the league declared the best players all pros. few more pro bowls coming in the future, it would be great to see it happen thanks to votes from his peers in the nfl. >>> speaking of all-star game, the nhl's attemp at entertaining us happens this weekend as well. the lightning have one more game before the all-star break and that's tomorrow night against the maple leafs. given the tight situation in the atlantic division, you can t
