right now temperatures in the 50s most of the bay area, 50 for the north bay, san francisco you'll be at 61 later this afternoon, 64 for the north bay and same deal for the peninsula and 66 the south bay. you will notice showers are expected across every microclimate today because we are expecting the system to move the and then eventually move out tonight. for today keep those umbrellas handy and keep in mind it's going to be a cool gray day most of the day. 11:00, the showers pushing from the north bay, san francisco the peninsula and even east and south bay will be when we the best chance of seeing widespread rain and few pockets of showers into the afternoon before we eventually clear things out towards tomorrow. rainfall amounts again, not impressive at all. we're only talking about maybe a tenth of an inch and that would be the highest amount of rain that we would see with this system. it's really moisture starved so we're not going to see rain with it or snow. in fact, yesterday, the snowfall amounts it rains from 6 to 12 inches from 5,000 feet up so they're expecting about ano

it's 63 degrees in the east bay and san francisco, 63 degrees as well with highs today reaching in the low 70s there. low 80s in the north bay and 80s in the try vi-valley. 76 degrees. oakland, mid-70s. there's a lot going on there today from the warriors game to the a's game and a lot of sunshine to go along with that with warmer air. by 7:00, it will be 65 degrees, just perfect with mostly clear skies tonight. a warmer trend is under way. we have this area of low pressure which brought us the mist and clouds on early sunday morning. we replace that with high pressure and give us clear skies and warming temperatures and the flow around the high pressure is always clockwise. it will fight back the onshore flow and inland temperatures are in the middle 80s to the 90s. this area of low pressure moves in and gives us spotty shower for the north bay on friday. it looks like we will have cooler temperatures and that carries into the weekend. this is how it shapes up. in the south bay, 73 degrees. 87 on wednesday. you see how those temperatures jump up but there may be a weak onshore flow for the peninsula as well as san franc

mainly focused on the north bay. much of the bay area will have a dry day tomorrow and a day like today, variable clouds, variable sun. futurecast from the perspective of oakland over to the san francisco skyline and the top third of your screen should look familiar. it's kind of like what we saw today. low clouds will head from north to south and the clouds way up top under the influence of a northerly flow. so futurecast, we'll look at it from this perspective. you'll notice there's plenty of clouds around. the green echo suggesting when we might get a few showers. look toward the end of the day tomorrow. 24 hours from now, look at the showers developing up in the north bay. that's the greatest likelihood for any rain coming down tomorrow. so tonight partly cloudy, a little on the breezy side. slight chance of an afternoon shower favors the north bay for monday. then late in the week, thursday, friday, saturday. then we get increasing sunshine and get to thaw out. it's been bone chilling these 60s. travel weather fo
