also the one in alaska putting northern california under an advisory. this is about 80 miles northwest of san francisco. so for reference on the coast that is close to point arena. the history of this tsunami so far around british columbia has been seeing reports of about a half foot to a 3/4 foot rise. so thankfully this does not look like a major tsunami event. however, it is being treated very seriously across the pacific where there is a tsunami warning for hawaii where some larger than expected waves of maybe one to two or three feet will be arriving at 1:00 in the morning our time. for the bay area know it looks like after midnight, we could see a quarter foot to a half foot along the coast. that may get extended toward santa barbara. as happens in these events. if it hits an inlet or the bay, sometime it can bring it to a foot or so. so places like crescent city may see some issues tonight. some change in those typical tidal currents that we'll see for three to four hours tonight after midnight. sub sighing slowly as we head into tomorrow morning.

i cover the northern california region. i usually focus on about $350 -- $350,000 of sbe loans. last year, for 2010, i did 43 loans. so we are lending. i usually focus on six different types of loans. start-ups, business acquisitions, real estate purchases with ti's, working capital, a partner buyouts, business expansion. when i am looking at a potential loan, i use the standard five c's of credit. the first one is character. what we are looking for is a minimum score around 640. we would like to say no recent bankruptcy foreclosures, bankruptcies, tax liens. if we see a loan that has been modified, we would like to see a reason it was modified, what ever reason it may be. it cannot be, i did not want to pay that payment any more. the second c, conditions. basically, how precise will the money be used? we are looking at a business plan. when you look at a business plan, that is just a start up. we are looking to see where there will be the need for lending. if you are an existing business, we want to see the money that we give you goes to the growth of your business. the third c

but the bigger changes is sitting up towards oregon and the northern california coast. t the pattern shift taking place late wednesday is going to bring down a weather system that will toss rain as far routt as the north coast by wednesday afternoon. but better timing in the forecast, taking you to tomorrow morning, you have the low clouds, patchy, dense fog may slow your morning commute. but by the afternoon, hazy sunshine. high clouds heading in towards the evening. now wednesday, take a look at the forecast here. parade starts at 11:00. through 1:00, as things continue to go on, san francisco looks fine. for halloween, you can see the rain trying to drop out of the north bay into the evening. if you go trick-or-treating in the south bay, you should be fine. but northward, we could see rain by 9:00. and later on during the night, the cold front will sweep through and some rain thursday morning. championship parade, just partly cloudy skies throughout the early afternoon. by the evening, we'll see raindrops flying around the golden gate probably after 9:00 on wednesday
