the oakland a's have *rejected a new pitch to stay at oakland's o-dot-co coliseum. this comes one day after the warriors' announced new plans to move to san francisco. the oakland -alameda county coliseum authority. is offering a 10-year lease proposal for the a's. to stay put. but late tonight, the a's issued a statement saying. the proposal --quote-- "did not address all of our issues. consequently, we cannot accept the terms of the offer." unquote. the a's have threatened to move out of oakland if they can't get a new stadium. the team has held ongoing talks with the leaders in south bay about moving there. and has filed a lawsuit against against major league baseball. the mayor of berkeley has a grand plan. to unite the east bay with a regional, increased minimum wage. kron 4's alecia reid talked to the mayor about how the plan would work, and asked small business owners what they think about it. business owners understand that minimum wage is about to go up in a few short months, but for the additional amount that the mayor is proposing.they hope it wont be too much too soon. berkeley's minimum wage is currently $8. come july, the new mandatory state minmum will be 9 buck
