that's accept for a little bit around the very pretty area south of ocean city. they're getting the rain now south eastern maryland. the last showers moved off of calvert cliffs. it's really a lower eastern shore thing. they're getting big storms down here. we have a lot of lightning down here. we're optimistic that this boundary and this storm activity will be closer to us come tomorrow. in the meantime, we're talking about air quality as well. so, again, it's the afternoon period and the hottest conditions, that's where we get the highest ozone levels that trigger the code orange alerts. temperatures are in the low 90s now. that's the cooler spot with the showers. that's north of 95 in the harbor. that's a steam bath in the city. tomorrow, neighborhood by neighborhood, similar tomorrow and a better chance of afternoon storms. canton, 91 and into anne arundel county. you'll hit 92 before the storms change in the afternoon. most of the activity is to the south. you can see the boundary pushing in. you're optimistic we'll get storms tomorrow. take a little bit of r

now and this is also going to ensure nice weather not just for the bay today, but over at the beaches. ocean city's high, 80. 82 tomorrow. the difference between the beach weather and our forecast is they have better odds of seeing showers and thunderstorms on the july 4th holiday, a 30% chance, where we have a better chance of see something thunderstorms tomorrow. a 50% chance. here is how the weather will unfold. this high pressure cell will head into the ocean. it will allow our winds to shift to the south. the key to this forecast, those outed southerly winds bring in warmer weather and higher humidity. this front will scoop that up on sunday and provide us with the thunderstorms especially by the afternoon and evening. we will be north of the front on sunday, so i'm thinking july 4th we'll be dry, but it's going to be very close. you folks just south of d.c., southern maryland over to the beaches, and the northern neck of virginia, could still see some thunderstorms on the july 4th holiday. keep that in mind. this afternoon, we take a trip up to the lower 90s. by tomorrow morning, we'll be in
