the weekend. so, live from ocean city, new jersey, this morning, starting to get a little bit more crowded on the boardwalk, meaning that we can count a few people and we have seen a few folks on bikes riding bias well. so dave warren, that is the traffic report from the ocean city boardwalk, what are you looking at right there. >> that is more crowded then we are jammed packed on these roadways here. problems that we are talking about in camden, not affecting patco but it is shutting down kaign avenue between mount evefram and haddon avenue knew. that road is closed by taking atlantic have avenue. i-95 northbound a approaching cottman we have a crash here and one lane is getting by. so cars are stacked up, northbound side and that is what we're watching right there. there is an accident at the schuylkill there, disable vehicle, conshohocken curve but you can see it is cleared out now but we do have have, bumper to bumper traffic both east and westbound. i-95 northbound if you are there near washington avenue there are pieces of carpet, pieces of carpet on the roadways, that could be causing some delays th

investigators are looking for the cause of a fire that gutted the seventh street surf shot on the boardwalk in ocean city. it's just one week before the unofficial start of summer. nbc 10's drew smith reports. >> we are in the ocean city boardwalk, in between sixth and seventh streets. this is the seventh street surf shop. you can take a look at the damage inside right now. firefighters beginning to clean up. they were able to knock down the fire in just about an hour but smoke was coming right out of the building for a good amount of time. and inside the shop you can see, there is all sorts of damage. pretty much a loss at this point. but we talked to some of the people who work here they say this is a staple of this part of the boardwalk and they will reopen. >> i'm in shock. i've been a part of this place for 10 or 11 years now and worked here every summer so it's tough to see. >> the hard part is with boardwalk businesses right now, they're all loading up for the holiday weekend, so there's a lot of merchandise in there that's obviously destroyed at this point, but also fuelled the fire. >> reporter:

fire officials are still trying to figure out what started a fire at a shop on the ocean city boardwalk last night. crews were called to the seventh street surf shop around 8:00 p.m. and when firefighters got there there was already heavy fire inside that store. it took crews about an hour to get it under control that store was seriously damanged neighboring stores are cleaning up from some minor damage. >> philadelphia police are trying to find the person who fired a gun at three men in north philly last night. hitting one of them. investigators say, a 18 year old man was standing on the corner, two other guys just past 11:00 last night. the men heard shot, they start today run but the gunfire hit the 18 year old. he has a fractured pelvis. is at temple university hospital recovering. >>> two teenagers are dead after investigators say the car that they were in went off the road and hit a tree. it happened in lock haven pennsylvania early yesterday morning. eighteen year old jordan king and 17 year old carly miller, were thrown from their car after it crashed on route 664. officials say

to the south because of a sea breeze off of the ocean much cooler, sea isle city and the boardwalk rightt 60 degrees. when you step out this afternoon the last couple days you said okay, feels really pleasant, the atmosphere doesn't have much weight to it because the humidity has been so low. however over the weekend those dewpoints going to go back between 65 and 70 degrees so it will feel humid again and that humidity will fuel the chance of some much needed rainfall. satellite and radar we're watching a warm front to the west. you can see clouds a little bit thicker just on our doorstep, even showers and those showers could break out first thing in spots tomorrow morning with a warm front and then we'll get into the warm sector south of that front in the afternoon and you can see the scattered downpours and thunderstorms in the deep south. that will be pushing up to the north and east over the next 24 hours. so future tracker as that warm front drapes through tomorrow morn there could be a couple scattered showers. then in the afternoon at 5 o'clock, spotty downpours and thunderstorms

the shore this hour. a lot of people hanging out on the boardwalk in ocean city. couple of weeks jam packed into memorial day weekend, people already taking advantage of some summer like weather. let's go to storm scan3. a lot of activity showing up and it's not really over us. we have what's left of ana. moved inland this morning into north carolina. right now it is a tropical depression so it's continuing to lose its tropical characteristics. decent amount of rain for coastal caroline alternate. then we have a frontal boundary to our north and west. well to the north and west. that's where we find more showers but we're kind of in between with just a few clouds around. an isolated shower not out of the question over the next few hours because of all the humidity we're dealing with. you see a heavier shower that came through new castle county delaware across the bay into the delaware river into salem county new jersey so againhower over the next hour or two and then those should dissipate and then we see the fog roll in from the coastline and that tracks westward
