we look carefully at the original intent. after 150 years, this particular part of the capital, you don't really know what the original paint is. if it has been painted over 37 times, it really takes some very careful analysis by our curatorial team, the senate curatorial team, and are really expert contractors to investigate and determine, peel back all of those layers of paint to determine how it was painted originally. you can see lori at work here. this is an excellent example of what happens with over paint. you can see the bright blue on the right, that is the original. you can see through a series of over painting and over painting, and painting over dirt over 150 years, you really lose their original character. and we've been able to take these beautiful spaces back to their original character over the course of many, many years with the generous support of the congress, and his work is coming to a close, maybe in the next two years, maybe three at tops. we will finish the complete restoration of the corridors. that is

the spikes from the original building, and bricks. as well as an invitation from the grand opening of fraunces tavern museum and restaurant in 1907. in this room you'll see exhibited part of the dunnsmore collection. fraunces tavern has the largest collection of dunnsmore painting anywhere, 42 pieces in this collection. about 10 years ago the museum discovered that these paintings were in disrepair, the frames were cracked, there were holes and tears in the paintings. so in the last 10 years the museum has had a large effort to conserve 37 of the 42 pieces. this conservation effort was worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, and is finally complete. so today can you visit fraunces tavern and see all of these beautiful 20th century illustrations exhibited here. they detail the story of the revolution from fabled events to actual events. and dunnsmore as a painter was an amateur archeologist and historian, also a member of the sons of the revolution in the state of new york. so his paintings are relatively accurate and they give a great

biggest change was moving the office that was originally facing the garden down to the street. this will actually help to activate the street at all times of the day. the rest of the street is town homes so this will give eyes on the street during the day. and then there's some relocation of services, just an expandsing of the -- like, mechanical services and stuff on the ground floor. the other change was adding an additional story to building b and this is how we accommodated the extra units on the site. the building was brought up one floor, 11 units. here is the rendering of the approved schematic design as the original height and here is the increased height. you can see the additional height really adds the verticalty of the building with the extra pair pit on the top. it improves the relationship between this building and the adjacent building. there is a change in construction type, which is how they are adding a floor here. there weren't changes to the townhouses other than adding the offices. the street is now a curbless street really adding to the pedestrian characte
