i can see mount hamilton, the peak behind me. there is the base now. the peak is a 4200 feet a lot of beautiful snow up there that come was a warning. there will be more snow overnight. there is snow on the ground and that could with a magnet to attracting people to mount hamilton as it did today. you can see people playing but there is a safety concern because there is a 19 mile stretch of road that is narrow and windy. parking is for emergency vehicles only and this is for emergencies only. the astronomers say they don't want to spoil anyone's fun but their advice and their warning tonight is do not come here this weekend for a snow day. safety issues just aren't worth it. and getting vehicles up the road difficult. cell service is very spotty. they're asking people not to come to mount hamilton. coming down the road there are puddles of water and black ice because the road is windy so there is snow and it rolls down hill and so you have that water then temperatures drop that freezes and creates a thin ice layer that can't be seen. there is black ice
