on the peninsula upper 50s. those are down about 2-4 degrees from monday as well. low clouds cool by the coast. more of a breeze by the delta. 60s and 70s. . 6:00 and it's 80. we have a bad problem here on 80. eastbound at ash by avenue, a truck came through, the sand barrels and part of this area here, the overpass you can see the sand barrels there and there's sand everywhere on the road and the truck itself lost wheels. no wheels on the truck on the left side. so they're not able to move it. can't just drive it off with no wheels. they have to wait for a tow truck and a sweeper and cal tran for all this sand to be picked up. it will be a while. if we can back up it's really effecting traffic on 80 westbound coming through from el sorito. look at this slow traffic here. this area is slow heading out to where the accident is at ash by. so get on the road early, today is a spare the air day. you might want to consider using bart or public transportation so at least you don't have to worry about stop and go traffic getting through. if you're driving to the bay bridge
