the pink line is the rain/snow mix.t's actually really hanging all the way through newcast castle county as well. right before it makes it to us, it's melting. which means our snow totals are lower instead, but what we're getting is that freg slushiness hitting the snow we saw from earlier this morning. it's impacting, squishing it down. and instead of getting higher totals, we get these stuck, hard, and crunchy snow amounts we see just sticking to everything. farther north and west, the purple you see is more heavy snow. and we have a more lighter to moderate rain now along our delaware beaches. these are the snow totals. now we've sweeched from pennsylvania to new jersey, dairy. to 2.9 inches. florence at 4 inches. in burlington county and cinnamonson at 3.5 inches. we are seeing numbers through parts of jersey and delaware. it's just along the i-95 corridor, where that mixing happened a little too quickly. so we have adjusted the values. along the shore, not likely to see anything. just a couple of inches through par

this is the pink is the warning area. the conditions are there and were certain this will happen. stretching from virginia, getting all the way to maine, if i can take you a little tighter, you notice a little green surrounding new york city and stretching up the coast. this is a blizzard watch which means wind will be near whiteout conditions getting into tuesday. i will time that out for you in just a minute. very cold winter weather temperatures currently sitting at 28 degrees. further inland you are getting into the teens. this cold weather will stay in place as we see moisture running in, really getting late into monday and tuesday. here's what were looking at on our national map. mostly clear for now but there are two systems were paying attention too. one is dropping snow. that will combine with another system in the southeast to lift its way up the east coast. we will see it on the east coast eventually. snow is falling in wisconsin and minnesota. also in northern portions of iowa. this forecast will show you when word expecting it to set up. a low pressure system is lifti

in the pink other purple color if it shows up as that on yoursy that's where the heaviest snow will be in the winter storm warning, but is it a challenge with the rain snow line because all for last several days, the rain snow line has been getting closer and closer to dc. now we even see it potentially pushing into montgomery county, which would mean less snow for these areas where you're seeing it change over to rain or sleet. let's run you through the headlines. snow will develop 9:00. give or take half hour or you may see a little rain. the rain snow line will cut down accumulations for many places. one of those places likely right along the i95 corridor. so and if this continues to push west, which has been the trend, the amounts will not be as big as they could be. highest accumulations where it stays all snow and you know where that is, usually north and west, frederick county, i'm looking at you. northern montgomery county, western loudoun county. this will be a huge storm. but it really gets its act together north of our latitude, which is why the northern and western suburbs
