what's not on here is perhaps a half a foot or more of snow in the poconos. let's take a look at the storm. it's making its way now out of the southern plains and into the tennessee valley. it's going to lift across our area and it's actually going to strengthen off the coast. it's going to become one of those bomb cyclones and park there long enough to bring us conditions pretty rough across the area. let's watch the track of it. here it comes. now what we see is thursday. early afternoon. tomorrow, we'll see rain developing across the area. we'll start to see the heavy snow across western pennsylvania. maybe some thunderstorms across the area. by the time this winds down friday night into saturday morning, we could even see that snow into the area and those very gusty winds. here are some of the things you need to bear in mind. the timing of some of these things. the highest winds will be from friday afternoon through friday night into very early on saturday morning. the coastal flooding is going to be coincide with the high tide on saturday morning and satu

there is now a winter weather advisory that goes into effect specific to the poconos. this does not effect anybody else but as temperatures drop and we have wet weather in the forecast that rain could turn to ice, so that is from 4:00 p.m. until 11:00 o'clock tonight, specific again, to the poconos. now you will notice there is rain working its way through the pocono region even across berks, lehigh, northampton county, leading edge of the cold front we have been tracking and it will continue to drop in throughout the course of the day. notice some icing across the north and western most parts of the pennsylvania, that again as it drops south is only going to over spread into the rest of the northeastern pennsylvania and that will move far enough south where it is cold enough to bring about that change, from rain over to icing. now at the moment you still gotten a surplus on the thermometer in wildwoods, atlantic city, even here in philadelphia it is a degree milder but obviously there is changing on in the rest of the southeastern pennsylvania as we see thermometer rea
