the winds gusting over 30 miles per hour. 38 millville. 29 the poconos. shore points it's chilly. first alert radar is dry here this evening. no more rain or snow to talk about here for the next couple of days. certainly a good thing. but already on our radar screens right now is another storm system. this one is curling into the pacific northwest. over 3,000 miles away from us. but our computer models are very much in agreement that this storm will give us an impact. that's why our confidence, a lot higher than average with this coastal storm. this is the american model. there's such high confidence in this forecast, the storm brewing tuesday night, on wednesday morning at midnight we're looking at rain and marine mixed with snow in philadelphia. just like the last one, the costal low takes over here. and look at how this flips over to snow. this is wednesday at noon, raining in philadelphia. then watch how that rain-snow line collapses to the south. this will be a fairly potent and intense system. so we may be looking at several hours of heavy, wet snow.

and high wind watch everywhere and more on all of this in a second and a winter storm watch in the poconos. most of us see rain there will be significant snow up there tomorrow. the first thing is the coastal flood watch and this thing kicks in this evening and goes through tomorrow evening. that is basically three high tides to give you minor coastal flooding and maybe moderate flooding. here is the flood watch philadelphia and montgomery county and camden county and points north and east. this is where the upper level support for heavier rain is at its worst and not only tonight but tomorrow and tomorrow evening. and then a high wind watch. this appears to be turn nood a warning in parts of the region. and the general idea is from allentown to wildwood, friday tomorrow into saturday. you'll have winds gusting as high as 50 miles per hour. and even higher than that down at the shore. i would look for debris on roads and downed trees and wires and branches down again and i believe this area here is a warning at this point. a winter storm warning in effect for the poconos and that starts ou

the poconos blustery and cold. highs around 33 with the wind it's going to feel more like the teens and 20s, like the middle of january up there. coastal flood advisory continues for the jersey shore and the delaware beaches. not only are we dealing with higher than normal tide, but we also continue to see these 8-14 foot breakers on the sand just like this continuing to pound away and create beach erosion. even the delaware bay getting into some of the smaller counties, what you can expect if you have property or live down at the jersey shore. it's this morning's high tide that we're concerned about. it occurs between 8:45 and 9:45 this morning. the tide will run a good foot to a foot and a half above what is considered your normal high tide levels. minor flooding is expected on the roadways that typically flood and the waves are 8-14 feet. this evening's high tide could also be minor tidal flooding but we get into monday and tuesday and everything is back to normal. gray? >> thank you for the update. the surging s
