the motorcyclist that was close to this guy. take a look at this interesting incident. this is on a racetrack in germany. riding along in the green and yellow car and looking at this mazda mx5, and you can see this little item which is a spring that fell off of the car up ahead, and bounced off of the guardrail and then hit the hood and the roll bar and the steering wheel of this car. maybe you say, oh, no big deal, but when you see it in real time, you hear a ping like something hit the car, but in slow motion, you realize how close that came to this driver's head. this is from mot motorsports, and when he pulled over, he was lucky, because that spring hit the car with enough force to bend the steering wheel. >> do you think that it would have cracked the helmet? >> yes. because back in a qualifier, a guy with a similar incident, a spring up ahead hit the driver right in the helmet and knocked him unconscious, and he went straight into the firewall and nearly killed the guy. he was in a coma for weeks. that is how dangerous a little piece of debris on a racetrack can be. >>> you are not going to believe
