the bulk of the rain is east of the d.c. ro area, d.c., annapolis, waldorf, still some moderate rain down here. these areas did not see the rain earlier. i'm not too worried about flooding to this area. something i'm watching, the main line, way to the south and east. back here is the area of low pressure that still has the spin through our region. we're not going to see a lot from it but som that's why the flash flood watch is continuing through 6:00 a.m. tomorrow. not going to take a lot of rain. some locations picked up two to three inches. dulles airport picked up close to two inches in 20 minutes. that's how hard the rain was coming down. so fast. it will not take a lot to get to the flash flooding. never drive through flooded roadways. i like to show you the satellite and radar together. you can see the spin in the atmosphere. that's going to come through overnight. 11:00, most of the rain across southern maryland. by 2:00 in the morning most of it is out of here. some shower activity but it will come back at 7 a.m. but
