i am a recent homeowner in the richmond district, and i currently live at 156 27th avenue. this equipment is being installed right in front of my house. the poll where it is being installed previously had no equipment. it was a small, simple light post. in our case, which is a little different, i think based on the permits i have reviewed there is a battery backup supply at one another pole across the street, which means additional overhead wiring between the poles. my understanding, and i am no expert on this, but it is one of those larger, 350-pound backup battery poles on a post across the street. we have that as well. other things, i would urge the board to review how these things are constructed. it has the feel of a rush job. i have a stand that sprint is rolling out there 4-g network. the device on our poll happens to be an at&t wireless antenna, but we live on a very quiet, residential street with nice views of the day, -- of the bay, and it is basically a four by four poll that has been strapped on top of a fragile light post. it looks like a band-aid approach, lots

i'm a native san franciscoan, homeowner from the richmond district. have i been visiting the hanc recycling center more than three decades. my neighborhood is served by curbside recycling but i take my recycling to the hanc center. the first point to make is the hanc center is the only genuine recycling center. the rest of buybacks that only accept california redemption materials. these are so-called recyclings do not accept mixed paper, cardboard, plastic bottle oz glass. they are accepted for dropoff at hanc. these centers attract more homeless than hanc because they deal exclusively from the high value recyclables taken from the blue bins. the second point i would like to make is the hanc center is also a reuse center. there's an area called a free table. here's items of value can be left for others to take for free. these are not items which would be diverted from the landfill by goodwill or other organizations. as an example i collect and repair bikes for the cast worker house. in the past two, three years i found eight, ten bicycles at hanc cente

i'm in support -- i'm also a resident of the richmond district. there's a anonymous on our block who have for the last 10 days watched a serious amount of activity after-hours. on mark trucks, installation of heavy-duty equipment and wires on power poles on our block that are already significantly loaded -- unmarked trucks. we live in a corridor where least 12 blocks have had their wires buried underground in the last 15 years. i of lived in my home for the last 18 years, and we are told that for the last 15 years, the project has been on the books for our block as well. it got as far as 25th ave. we got as far as 26 ave. 26 and 27th avenue happen to be blocks in this district where the veirs overhead, and it appears to was that as a result, our wires are double loaded. there is so much equipment going on, and now that they have come in, honestly, under the cover of darkness. it has been a very strange experience to listen to these trucks in the rain at 10:00 at night installing the equipment. it just does not smell right. let alone the safety conc

when i first came here 12 years ago, to park merced, i was living in the richmond district. i was amazed at the beauty of park merced. i did not know that this neighborhood existed in san francisco. one thing about this is the unique feeling to this. i feel that this is connected to most of the residents who are over here right now. we have the same understanding of this and this is unique. this has a good quality to this. having a larger population to this, i think that this would be more crime-ridden because this has a larger population and this would have more of flow of traffic. -- of the day -- of buffalo -- of a flow of traffic. the old housing, how is this affecting -- these houses are getting older and they feel that there is a way to fix this. there is a way to make this better. when my friends come over from different cities and from san francisco, they are always amazed at the beauty of park merced. they see these quiet areas and that is where people want to raise their families. i am just helping -- i am against this plan, and i hope that everything works out well
