the s.f. p.u.c. staff has estimated the cost of the services provided under the tariffs to be 1.5-$2 million per year for a total not to exceed an amount under this agreement of $20 million over a ten year term. the cost associated with the services provided under the tariffs are paid exclusively from clean power s.f. revenues. pg and e. offers a standard c.c.a. service agreement for use in its service area. most operating c.c.a. his and pg nde service areas have executed the agreement without modification. these agreements feature an indefinite term. that agreements terminate if the local jurisdiction were to terminate the c.c.a. program, or if one of the parties is in default under the agreement. when the city and county of san francisco started taking steps to initiate c.c.a. service in 2010, the city negotiated favourable modifications to the pg and e. form agreement including explicit references to applicable laws and tariffs, any provision that requires them to pay interest on late payments. tha

but prop a also gives the s.f. p.u.c. its own source of revenue , so we need to remember that as we talk about funding and how will be allocated. we are seeking state grant funding to support the cannabis equity program. last fall, senator stephen bradford brought statewide recognition to local equity programs by drafting and passing fb 1294, the california cannabis equity act of 2018. this act recognizes that the collateral they -- collateral consequences of multigenerational, over policing of cannabis activity has left so many individuals lacking the resources they need to successfully enter the legal cannabis market, and allocate $10 million to the bureau of cannabis control to grant directly to local jurisdictions with equity programs. san francisco and one of a handful of jurisdictions in the state of california with an equity program that has begun alongside oakland, los angeles, sacramento, and long beach. this means our city is well positioned to compete for a large portion of the $10 million , and state grant fund

i would say the panhandle playground is a success in many of the let's play s.f. community relationships. and for those commissioners who have been helpful, i very much appreciate that. won the panhandle playground came to our attention, it was about midway of the let's go s.f. initiative, we are still about halfway through. one of the cautions i would go out there is to ensure that they continue to not just listen to the community as they did. haven't gone to the first meeting of the golden gate heights high ground as well, it was a welcome introduction to that playground, and offering all the different issues out there. i would urge the commission to poke pressure on management to ensure the playgrounds are being designed for the kids and for the people who are using them, and not just for operational costs, and to look pretty. a lot of the time when they are designed to look pretty, that is great for you and me as adults, but it doesn't necessary don't necessarily benefit our kids. i have young kids in san francisco and i was born and raised. not only do i have

we begin serving customers under the clean power s.f. program in may of 2016 when we enrolled commercial customers and supervisory districts five and eight, and commercial and residential customers throughout the city that have signed up. it will be approximately 800 accounts in all. we have enrolled about 117,000 accounts citywide, were almost 30% of the potential clean power s.f. accounts in the city. the p.u.c. has been busy for his next major enrolment and they will be enrolling about 280,000 mostly residential accounts in april. with this enrolment, we will have enrolled all but the largest electricity accounts in the city and we will be following up with those electricity customers individually over the course of calendar year 2019. after the upcoming april enrolment, we estimate the number of active customers being served by clean power s.f. that will be around 365,000. as part of our phasing policy and decision-making around 12 enrolled additional customers, the p.u.c. established it would not automatically enrolled customers unle

i wanted to update you on a very special edition of the s.f. outdoor events network. the next mixer is coming up on january 28th, on the topic this time is cannabis and special events. it is a very timely, a very exciting, and i'm also excited to be collaborating with the president on this program. he will be moderating a panel discussion. but the context for this is that with the state and governor passing legislation recently that allows local jurisdictions to decide if and where they would like to have temporary cannabis events in their jurisdictions, what does that mean for san francisco? what is next for special events that want to add cannabis sales and consumption to their event, it is early, but what kinds of things should event producers and other kinds of industry people start thinking about in terms of the rules and to the best, and the models. a lot of folks are asking me about what are the opportunities for revenue, how does that work? how does that work within the legal framework? and very excited about this. we have a really powerhouse panel, so obviousl
