i want to thank the s.r.o. and everyone who has been involved in this because the policy piece is important as we move forward. i may have to leave this hearing early because i do have public safety and neighborhood services , supervisor safai will be subbing for me on the committee if i have to leave early. i do have some recommendations that i will respectfully like to submit to the district about what we can do to tighten up the m.o.u. and talk about next steps that we can take one something like this may occur, and some of the protocols that sfpd could maybe put in place as well because they have protocols for when shootings happen, et cetera , so we could have some type of protocol and a conversation with the law enforcement as well after this. lastly, i want to say that i did have an opportunity to personally apologize to the family as a member of the board of education. we didn't make it happen as a district, but i do want to say that any time we put young people in a position where they can be paraded by

as a matter of disclosure, i'm on the s.r.o. board. this is my first appearance since my 21-day hunger strike over h.s.h. housing, which may not have been necessary if h.s.h. had made sure the underlying issue got worked out. i want to thank supervisor haney for working on this issue and supervisors ronen and walton for helping out. last year, h.s.h. introduced a wellness check policy for housing that although there's a lot of different opinions on that. the complaints by so many boot legers about this measure have no merit. on every other commission in this city, 90% of matters get approved, and the others have so many issues that will bite us in the ass later, the make decisions really lie because of this network of different committees. from my perspective, we think with of an h.s.h. commission. we think it makes a lot of sense that the our city, our home commission will be reporting to the commission the status of our unhoused neighbors, and the people who work closely with the department of homelessness. there is strong support, an

one to have training for the s.r.o., the school resource officers, two, for the individuals who are detained and arrested to have access to an attorney, three to have clear definitions defining what exited circumstances are, which outline when the police departments take action, and then four, suggestions about data collection and reporting for custodial incidents at the school. so that was last week. we also got, a lot has been happening in the past few weeks. we had a permanent injunction, a temporary injunction was granted on some of the cases that had been in front of the commission related to the text cases, you know, that has been just under 300 hours. it is just one, but i presume that some other cases may try and join, even though they will have to file their own motions for it. we have put a lot of work into those cases so i will keep you guys updated, but for now, that injunction is likely. the indicated that at the ruling they probably should indicate a ruling. i think that is what is likely to happen. also, we had a really good meeting with captain steve ford and with commander f

it's very possible that we have the worst s.r.o. stock in the country. now, the other situation is i'm in support of this legislation, but i feel like the cause about emergencies should be removed. you might have removed it because somebody can just declare an emergency and override the rules and regulations. we're having a major problem where you will open a navigation center but call it a safe navigation center or call it something else, and right now, the san francisco administrative code 2400 is being violated basically across the board in that no one is monitoring it from the city and county of san francisco. the navigation centers, they're getting a free pass to violate the 2400 -- no one in the city is monitoring it. they shove it off on the shelter monitoring team committee, and they don't have enough authority or resources to investigate when we're getting abused. so it's a perfect storm. the contractors will hire felons and drug users, and then, they go work at the shelter with no type of bedding. and then, when we go abused, we go to the shelt
