in order to get donations they tell the city of san francisco they're saving all the animals and san francisco is a no kill city but in fact, i found out that they are far from it. i accidently found out by going to safeway, i ran into a woman with a pit bull and she said there is one just like him at the spca that is about to be put down and five said they are no kill and she said they're not. i went down and found out that the spca was having her foster that dog which got me curious. we went back to the kennels that animal care and control and she started pointing out all the dogs that the spca had rejected and started investigating and found out that at the time they were only taking 14 percent of the dogs and the rest were coming from the central valley and other shelters >> what is wrong with that in your eyes? >> they're called the san francisco spca and they sell themselves to the public as the city's shelter, that they're saving animals within our city and instead what they're doing is going to i kill shelters and cherry picking the cute and fluffy ones or the highly adoptable

as a retired public school teacher of the san francisco unified school district in the city college of san francisco, it is the dream of teachers like me to see young folks like you doing such meaningful work. and what an impressive representation tonight. you should give yourself a big hand for that. you get more used to be involved in your inspirational works. i have been working with neighborhood leaders as a community advisory board from the asian pacific island police, and the bay view police station. we are thankful that under the leadership and hard work of captains and officers, there has been a big dent in crime in san francisco. it is the concern that i am here to thank them and the san francisco police department. for many years, members of the police department have conducted a christmas toy drives her children in san francisco. it consists of several public events where toys and funds are collected and distributed to children in public housing, low- income neighborhoods, and neighborhoods in the. i want to thank the chief going to the different schools and the golden rule
