in terms of the occupy sf movement, reading the resolution overall, i agree with 99% of what is being said. there are a lot of folks who feel similarly, who feel very frustrated at the movement or lack of movement we seen nationally. there are policies in place that seemed to create a larger divide. i certainly agree with that message. in terms of free speech, i think it is a fundamental right in the united states. i think that really distinguishes us from any other country. that is something very close to our hearts. but unfortunately for me, i want to express what it is a will not be supporting this resolution, because i think it is important. it has nothing to do with the movement or the message of the movement. it has nothing to do with the free speech right. i do not condone any violence in san francisco with any future action. for me, the area where i have discomfort is what we do around permitting -- term use -- permitting long-term use of public spaces. it could be any other movement. it could be in just herman plaza. it could be somewhere else in the city. i am not sure we ha

the occupy sf camp may be moving to a new location. ning about 400 protestors they are still camped out at san francisco's justin herman plaza. many nearby business owners are frustrated as the holiday season gets under way. this tent city is going to kill their business if the city doesn't take immediate action. now we are hearing mayor ed lee reportedly is talking to the occupy protestors about moving their camp to an old school campus. it's on mission street between 15th and 16th street. however many of the protestors say they have no plans to move. meantime dozens of defiant occupy oakland protestors they are still at their new camp this morning. they are gathered outside the lot at 18th and linden. after a very eventful night. 200 protestors voluntarily packed and left after getting word the owner of the property wanted them out. the police were watching quietly from across the street. at least 50 occupy protestors came back a couple hours later. they now seem determined they will stay there. still not clear how oakland police will

during that study, the community was interested in what he ended up calling tier 5 improvements, soared above and beyond what was being proposed in parkmerced and sf state. those improvements kind of overlap, and that is the idea. that is some people know this is the tier 5 study. then 19th avenue corridor study was unable to really analyze those tier 5 improvements, and this is what this next level of conversation is intended to be. really to look at some of these a larger improvement and how we might be about fund them. there's a strong emphasis on partners. we expect a partners with the mayor's office of economic and workforce development. of course we expect to partner with sfmta. we also have some local private institutional land-owner partners, including parkmerced, sf state, and stones down. the total budget is expected to be $480,000. we are funded in part by a grant we received by the department of transportation caltrans in the amount of $300,000. our local partners in the study are looking to provide up to about $80,000. we have commitments from sf state, as well as parkmerced. we made inquiries into stones town, and we're hopeful that
