parts of the center sierra, moving into the southern sierra right now and the rain is still around fresno. it's moving across parts of the central valley. now we are seeing our skies clearing and it is such a beautiful late morning head into the afternoon, but really cool out there. and we've also had some higher waves being churned up at ocean beach with all the clear skies and the gusty winds. it's going to be choppy out there at our beaches as well. i wanted to show you the picture at anderson reservoir, morgan hill. it is so dry. despite this morning's rain, it's going to stay pretty dry. the seven-day forecast is up at the bottom of the screen. much cooler temperatures over the next few days. and we've gotten used to temperatures that were actually well above normal. right now we're at 53 degrees across much of the bay area, with our high temperature reaching into the mid-50s today. a big cool down from the weather we've gotten used to. in walnut creek, we're looking at a high of 57 degrees. 53 degrees. san mateo, 54. 53 in the marina district and the north bay also at 56 in novato.
