as daniel mentioned, i lead on trade issues for bsa, the software alliance, an industry association that represents the software industry global, large and smaller companies. companies that are -- have made services like cloud computing services, artificial intelligence, data analysis, central to their business plans. all of those services have one thing in common which is they require the ability for data to move in a relatively unrestricted fashion around the globe. large quantities of data, much larger wasn'ts that have been transported previously. and the challenge now is to create a set of international trading rules that accommodate, promote, and protect that sort of activity. this is a dramatically new area of the economy, as daniel mentioned, it's an area in which american companies currently lead the amount spent, for example, on public cloud services in the united states is well beyond other countries, but it is growing perhaps even more quickly in other parts of the world. so, there is now a realization around the world that there's a need for these sorts of rules. in some way
