(terisa estacio)at the sonoma skypark pilot ron price tells me that he saw william goldman just before he took off in his cirrus sr22 his children and nanny on board. it was only 1000 feet later that the cirrus crashed in this field south of the airport. goldman died at the scene, his children now in the hospital, as well as the nanny. ron unfortunate really.throughout the day, agents with the national transportation safety board descended up on the field to examine the plane. they plan to be on site documenting the wreckage throughout the weekend.

the sonoma county sheriff's office tells us.. the victim that died is a 38 year old man from san francisco. his name is william sachs goldman a woman and two children - a little boy and a little girl were on that plane. we spoke to people who live near the property where the plane crashed and were the first to arrive on scene.they tell us it started just like any other day.. they heard a plane take off like they ususally o.but then they heard some unusual patterns of sputtering before the plane went over their property.. and started losing altitude. at that point they heard a pop which they later learned was a parachute slowing the plane down before it crashed.neighbors and some construction workers were nearby and ran to the plane.a witness describes wehat happens next. robert castillo/witness: when we got there, the pilot had been ejected from the airplane. the little girl was unconscious and we were able to remove the top of the airplane because it was broken by cutting with knives, cut the seat belt off the little girl, was ab
