by 4:00 this afternoon, down to 1700 in the north bay to 1900 around the bay to 2300 the south bay. there you get to the santa cruz mountains for the evening commute. 10:00 snow levels to 400 feet in the north bay, 1200 in the east bay, 1300 the south bay and by 4:00 tomorrow morning when everything's just about over, we'll have the north bay. freezing level at the surface. snow level to surface around the bay and about 700 feet the south bay. kind of gives you a time frame when we start to see that snow drop down. right now all rain until you get to lake county. starting to get some snow. as we head towards 4:00 this afternoon, that's when the north bay will start to see those snow levels drop down. about 2500 feet for sure we're going to get a lot of snow. same thing for the rest of us in the east bay hills and the santa cruz mountains. as we head towards 10:00 tomorrow morning -- well, by, say, midnight tonight more likely we'll see that snow level down to about 1,000 feet. more than 6 inches 3,000 feet. showers today, lowering snow levels. freezing cold in the north bay valleys.
