the second biggest use is pledged tax increment. as a reminder, increment that's generated either in mission bay north, mission bay south, or the state owned parcels in transbay, very small amount in south beach harbor and this year it's very exciting to report, we just got the first property tax distribution from the controller in january, and we have over $150,000 generated in pledge property tax income in shipyard 1. so that means there is starting to be some there, and it's an indication that redevelopment works. we have worked really hard to put development out in that area and it's now generating property tax which is showing up on the rolls and generating revenue for future development, which is what redevelopment is supposed to do, so that's really exciting. and so our next steps are to hear your commentary and feedback, integrate that into the rops, and then go back for oversight board approval on january 22nd, and then submit an improved rops before february 1st. and if you have any questions, i would be happy to answer them. >> are there any speaker cards, madam secretary? >> no, madam chair, there are no speaker cards. >> i will close public comments since there are no speaker car

representatives from the south beach mission bay neighborhood association, from riking hill and the barbree coast neighborhood association and sales force attended the meeting. we want to thank the department of homelessness and supportive housing, commander lazar and his associates from the s spd, and andrew robinson from the c.b.d., and cindy sampson from the project team for presenting. with that said, the presentation fell somewhat short. protocol inside of the center was and is developed and funded for the various levels of security associated internally. what is of concern is the specific protocol in funding for outside resources which does not appear to be fully flushed out. outside of the center, the plan appears to be more reactive. if the neighbors see problems or have issues, call the c.b.d. emergency line, call 311, or the sfpd and they will respond. what we have also heard were concerns of inadequate funding to address any increases in needs for response and service. this was a challenge heard across the various organizations. as a c.a.c. did not have time to formally debrief a

i'm involved in the community serving on the board and as transportation rep of the south beach mission hill neighborhood association. in the recent pass as an officer of the democratic club. however, my comment today is provided as an eight-year resident of mission bay. over the past six years, i've had the opportunity, along with my neighbors, some for up to 10 years as you heard, to be involved in the planning process for the mission rock development. this includeded providing feedback on a variety of public documents and numerous community outreach meetings and workshops. in addition to current residents and local businesses, those community leaders involved in the planning of mission bay from the beginning were also involved in the process. we discussed building heights, transportation, quality of life, open space and so much more. together we shared our insights and provided input on this project which will help transform this part of the eastern waterfront into a vibrant and complete community. good for us as neighbors, good for us as community and our city. as i mentioned, this
