the suburbs will be in for more showers and thunderstorms as well as the lehigh valley.l clear in east and warms into the 80s this afternoon. 88 degrees with showers and thunderstorms firing up during the early to mid afternoon hours. we can still see some activity in new jersey and in delaware this evening. once again, where you're less likely to see more storms pop up is the jersey shore. most of the day is going to be dry and very low 80s this afternoon for the shore. right now, most neighborhoods are dry. satellite and radar shows the clouds screaming through the area. there are just a few sprinkles coming down in the atlantic city area. it's light rainfall that's now moving to the east, that shower activity is dying down. once we get past the showers today and tonight we'll get a break heading into tomorrow. but then there's one more chance of seeing some wet weather come our way and it's from an approaching cold front that should be arriving late friday or early saturday. this hour by hour forecast shows those storms, that cold front to our west friday evening at 6
