let's show you the video of the landslide at telegraph hills. so you don't have to see the blurry images. i can tell you this probably happened at around 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. an area that is known to possibly have landslides because they have barriers in place. and that's just in case a landslide takes place that you can catch the rocks. fortunately, we are not hearing of anybody hurt or any cars damaged, but this area has been shut off as least lanes one and samson. we can tell you that geologists will be out here at 9 o'clock this morning to inspect the damage. it appears that the landslide did take place in the middle of the hill and not at the top. and that is important because back in 2007 torrential rains forced about 120 homes to be evacuated nearby out of fear, of course, city with fall right down the hill and of course, down to the roadway at samson and union. hopefully that will not happen this time. of course, today is a dry day, but we do know that the soil is saturated and we do expect more rain is tomorrow. so this obvious

the residents are ready here in force. failed theresa kron. 4 news. >> well, today geologist came to look at telegraph hill after the rain caused a mudslide in san francisco last night. the debris fell into a retaining and spilled over onto the streets. there were no injuries and the geologists telling us here at kron 4 that no evacuations are necessary. >> rain came down very heavy, just loosen. the rocket came down. we are looking at the hillside above and making sure that it's ok, our biggest concern really is to make sure that houses in pro and property people are going to be safe. so we feel very comfortable with that right now. we'll be coming out in the coming weeks to do some more assessment of the hillside to see if there's needs to be any shoring up. you know, we've been out to telegraph hill many times over the years. we've put up some netting still netting to make sure it's safe. put in some rods to make sure the hillside say we haven't had crews come out repelling down the hillside to take off any loose rock. so we don't think we have to do any of that at this point. we're going to keep a close eye on it just to ma
