i am with the tjpa senior construction management. to add to what he has just said, we were also in parallel with the preliminary findings. we have been able to start developing the fix at fremont. it is anticipated that loss will be presented to our board on thursday as well, along with various other analyses to show how much effort has been going in to this project since september 25th. so there's a lot to be presented , hopefully in the next couple of days. >> i don't know what will happen between now and 48 hours from now, but would you like to speculate for the transportation authority and for the public as to when these fixes will be effectuated? >> i can put framework on that to show you there are two paths that will happen. we will talk about the repair. everyone has been focused on the repair. that is part of the report. it will assist, once we have that confirmed, we will have the type of steel dimensions and they can procure that. once the peer review does all this information is being presented and they give us the green li

and the rest of the tjpa consultants. our fourth item is to look at the condition of the structure that is -- may have been impacted by the fractured girders. as bruce gibbons just mentioned, there was redistribution of load, so try to make sure that nothing else was damaged in consequence with those fractures, and then, to also look at the repair solution that is being proposed for the fremont street girders. and then, ultimately whatever's being proposed for first street, and we haven't seen that yet. in terms of where we're at, essentially, the first two items are essentially done. wi we've completed shoring review and has concurrence with what's been done. this has been done before material samples were done, where it's removed, what will be removed and what tests will be conducted at l.p.i. the third item, looking at the cause of failure, that's ongoing, so we're reviewing the work of l.p.i. i have to say so far we have general concurrence with the investigations that robert vecchio mentioned today. other impacted loc

sample locations and findings were proposed by the tjpa and the contractor and accepted by our independenteview panel. the samples were then shipped to l.p.i. laboratory in new york. the testing facility agreed upon by all parties, including the peer review panel. testing is underway to determine the cause of the fissures. we expect the results later this month to tell us the findings and determine a repair. after, we will did he right lane open a schedule for implementing the repair and opening the facility. i assure you, we will work as quickly as we can, but we must ensure a trusting and thorough investigation to win back the trust of the public at large. i would like to thank the peer review panel members for providing us with over sight, expertise, valuable input and for their expeditious reviews. later in the agenda, the tgpa construction manager will provide more construction details as part of the update on the transit center closure. moving to phase two in the downtown extension, we received the final comments from the federal transit administration for the supplemental environmen
