film critics are taking in sneak peaks this week at the toronto film festival. joining us now is erik childress of the chicago film critics association. good morning. > > good morning > > so what's in store? give us some big giant films that you think are going to be stellar on the screen. > > well there are a lot of good films that are getting a lot of good buzz out of telluride and the toronto film festivals right now. the first one on the top of it is one called prisoners-- big cast: hugh jackman, terrence howard, jake gyllenhall, viola davis. this is a big kidnapping thriller from warner bros.-- a 2 and a half hour film that people weren't quite sure about, but the director had a film out for best foreign film a couple years ago and this is sort of his first big american film and it's got a lot of great buzz. > > well the bar is set high-- especially after les mis with hugh jackman. > > mm hmm, yeah. some are actually saying that this is his best performance to date. > > really? > > yeah, so that's quite saying something. > >alright, also, george clooney and

machado was in the dugout for tonight's series opener with the toronto blue jays. he's out for the rest of this season missing his first game since his big league debut last august. with or without machado the os offense has slumped for a month. brian roberts would do his best to pick them up in the 3rd inning with this home run, solo shot. mccloud homered after that and got a strong start from pitcher chris tillman. nine strikeouts. he allowed one run in seven innings. toronto battled back, and in the tenth inning they went ahead, cleveland won, and the os are now out of it. >>> his former team lacked leadership now that he and ed reed left the ravens. lewis said the jones incident could have been prevented with better leadership. there's no doubt about how well the ravens are playing on defense without lewis and reed. players i talked to say they are finding their way after the greats have moved on. >> the time that these guys have spent, ed reed, ray lewis, in terms of their leadership and play, guys have to step up. younger guys are looking around who is that go
