this is an item related to the transportation authority's program. we have a revolving credit loan outstanding at 49000000 with state street bank. this credit facility expires in june of 2018. there's an attachment one that summarizes all the credit ratings and pricing in terms of interest rates for each of the various credit facilities offered in consultation with the ta's financial advisor rah. >> what is the difference in the rates? >> a few points right now. we're in in negotiation with the rates. you have attachment and certain pieces of it are blanked out. they're willing to work with us. they have many transactions with the city and county of san francisco. they have one with sfmta, puc, the city controller's office, and sfo. they're very willing to continue working with the city and the county. >> thank you. >> and moving forward, this is the most advantageous and cost-effective proposal we have to date. it would be approximately $200,000. if this loan was at full capacity, we would be paying $3.5 million in interest costs. the total interest

lastly, i would like to just thank the san francisco county transportation authority for facilitating this effort. this, i'm sure, was a challenging effort and really was the first time that all of the stakeholders were brought together into one place where they each were able to deal with each other, hear their positions, and present the issues that they may have discrepancies on in a constructive way so the solutions could be found and this project move forward. thank you, mr. chairman. >> thank you. i really appreciate it. i think the last thing that you just touched on is the most important thing, which is bringing everybody in the room and working collaboratively. your next step, number six, and i don't want to put too fine a point on it, is a little damming when you're taking on a multi-billion dollar project, these projects, the high-speed rail, the city, the buy and through its planning department, the mta, the county transportation authority's lack of coordination is rather startling. i think what i just heard is that creating this space going forward is profoundly important.

what we did as part of walk to workday along with supervisor jane kim and chang from the county transportation authority and walk san francisco and a number of community groups is we accelerate visited a new mid-block signal at ross and howard to kick off walk to workd workday. we also did one at falsom. both have been high priorities for the neighborhood. with the new intersection or new signal cams high visibility walks, signals and what was notable is that this is just north of where we put in a signal at folsom and rusk right in front of the park and betsy carmichael elementary. i think there's another school in the area as well. people have been crossing these mid-block crossings on howard and folsom before the signals. if you picture what it's like, it's wide streets, cars move very fast so the see the difference once these signals went in where cars were stopping and that signal was giving the pedestrians the protection to cross safely is night and day. it was very well received by the neighborhood stake holders. i do want to note that these improvements were also fully supported, not just been t
