the u.s. ment. the company do to receive $6.6 billion in grants and as much as $5 billion in loans from the u.s. to build factories in arizona. mandeep singh of bloomberg intelligence joins me now with more details. of course this comes a few weeks after we learned the details of what intel is going to receive from the u.s. government. basically almost $12 billion in total going to tsmc. how meaningful is this actually? >> more than the actual subsidies, if tsmc is saying they will build a third factory, all the suppliers will be motivated to set something up. and that is what you need to have a manufacturing facility. yes, they will build factories, but there is an ecosystem of testers, packaging companies, and that is where you need to bring in everybody. it's not going to happen overnight, so the fact that they have announced this plan for actually doing two and three nanometer manufacturing i think is pretty exciting. probably inviting other companies to start thinking about their operation
