, give us a quick recap of what happened there with the race for the senate seat in that state this of course, is former senator obama 's of the unitedstates and of course, had he stayed in the senate, he would be up in this election cycle. so the battle between ealexi, the state treasurer and congressman mark kirk from sub irban, chicago. if you look at the state, you say it's obviously a blue state and the expectation is democrats would easily hold the steat. but a funny thing happened along the way. alexi's family who owns a bank and she has been involved in that bank has been in trouble recently because of the bank. they loaned money to some unsavery characterize and recently the feds overtook the bank and was unable to sustain itself. so they are making it moved. if he can't do that very well and also looks at his record as treasuror saying the state lost a lot of money in a college loan program. can't do that successfully, why should we send him to washington? so controversies then evolved about mark kirk's own resume, and that's some of the adds you will see, hopefully in the next couple seconds. >> yes. let's take a look at h

the unionization process. as radical as you can get. and craig becker was rejected in the united states senate on a bipartisan vote. 's and obama went ahead and said, i am putting him in any way. and he put a man using a recess appointment and becker is now on the national labor relations board and wouldn't you know it, they have got a way to get card check at the backdoor. they are just going to allow people to vote for unio representation from their homes over the internet and there could be a guinean guy standing over their shoulder. that is a real proposal at the national board. we need a congress that will step in and stop them from doing that. [applause] offshore oil drilling. how many folks are for developing a manned-- american energy resources in this country? [applause] we had a hughes victory after a summer of anger over gasoline prices. we finally repealed the moratorium on offshore oil drilling in this country. ..
