that's the interesting thing. unlike universities and colleges around the united states, whether in north dakota, south dakota, nebraska, indiana or whatever, these for-profit universities get a substantial portion of all of their revenue directly from the treasury through pell grants and student loans, dramatically higher percentages of their revenue come from the treasury than virtually any other college or university. this is unique to the for-profit college and university sector. they are the most heavily subsidized for-profit private businesses in america today. let me give you an example of what i'm talking about. 82% of the revenue coming to the university of phoenix, $2.7 billion, comes out of title 4. 82% much their revenue. when it comes to the department of defense tuition assistance, university of phoenix is the fourth largest recipient in the united states. $20 million. under the g.i. bill, they are the largest recipient from the department of defense and the treasury. $346 million. their c.e.o., mr. capelli, is paid $8

it's the final step in the gifting of their campus to the university of iowa. the board of regents will begin deciding whether or not to finalize that today. josh nguyen is live this morning to tell us what is in store for the next couple of days and what the future may hold for the aib campus. josh what is the latest? the gift will go to the iowa board of regents for final approval. leaders expect it will be approved and will be shocked if it doesn't happen. the next step will be ordering a long term assessment. the assessment will determine if the aib location will meet a demand for remote higher education. uni, iowa, and isu could all potentially be there in the future if the assessment finds value. the findings are expected to be released in march of next year. a company will come and do a the factors. programming options, location, traffic flow, everything and issue the report staying 'these are our finding'. that is long term. that has no impact on the short term use of the aib property to become a regents resource center. the university of iowa will have
