the usa must win this match. this is actually just the first time the usa is playing belgium since the 1930 world cup. there's really not too much history between the two teams. there are a number of likenesses. both sides very physical. both tactically astute teams. one big note for the usa ahead of today is the striker who was injured in the very first game has been deemed fit. the question is whether klinsmann is going to use him. i'm not convinced he will be. the guy to keep your eye on for belgium is someone i like to call the man child. this kid, he's a beast. he's 21 years old. he is a top striker. he has a clinical finish. he's such a physical force with this ball at his feet. it might come down to the usa's defense and even the midfield to slow down the belgium play. all that being said, do i think the usa can do it? yeah, i really do. i don't think they can do it in 90 minutes. not 120 minutes. i think the match might be decided in penalty kicks. it might come down to shot stoppers. tim howard is familia

this isn't truly a sad day for the usa. is is a great day, because we just witnessed an american squad that got everybody in the country so excited, and got them to fall in love with soccer. now the face of the american side last night, undeniably tim howard, 16 saves he made in this game. he was just having to stop actually everything and he was unbelievable. i would personally call him a beast, carol, a highly technical term, but that is exactly what he was. those 16 saves were actually the most amount of saves by any one goalkeeper in a world cup match in history. unbelievable, but at the same time, is he going to be the guy that will be in goal for the usa as we move ahead? we don't know that for sure. he's 35 years old now, and in four years, he'll be 39, so it will be interesting to see if he is still around, but we do have a lot of young faces to get excited about, one of the guys is yedlin who i spoke to after the match and he truly is the future of american soccer. listen to what he told me. >> if that's the title,
