otherwise, mostly clear inside the bay and the valleys this morning. and then this afternoon, sunny skies and hot temperatures. more sunshine and hot weather continuing right through the weekend. there's that ridge i was talking about building back into the bay area. that will send those temperatures up sizzling in many spots away from the coastline, but even out at the beaches, it should be very nice. the air quality is suffering with that strong ridge of high pressure overhead unhealthy into the santa clara valley so it is a "spare the air" day. nonetheless, serious heat in the central valley, 102 sacramento, 104 fresno. 75 and sunny into monterey bay. and about 99 in yosemite. around our bay 98 in morgan hill. 94 in san jose. 94 in redwood city. 74 in half moon bay. about 100 in livermore. 101 in brentwood. and about 98 degrees in walnut creek. inside the bay, you're looking at 80s and then toward the coastline, some 70s into daly city. next couple of days, going to stay very hot, in fact probably about the next five to seven days temperatures runnin

you can see the temperature contrasts were pretty dramatic. valley at 87. some of the areas that were farthest away from that sea breeze did see it heat up the most, like the valley, san jose closer to the ocean breeze, 83 degrees there, then you can see paolo alto at 80, san francisco 69, and point reyes at 61. 5:18, that cooler westerly wind is so strong it's winning out across all areas of the bay. even while we did heat up for a couple of hours, temperatures already beginning to drop off. averaging 73 in the north bay, winds out of the south at 15, fog moving throughout the golden gate bridge and the good news around the east shore, check out that humidity, 76%. some increased moisture coming in with the fog, that's some good news. some of the best weather no doubt at this hour across the south bay with plenty of blue sky, unlimited visibility. weekend forecast, it is going to be another mixed bag here for both saturday and sunday. the thing that we're following is the fact that the fog pattern is going to stay put at the immediate coastline. very aggres
