much sunscreen for the next few days because the coastal areas will stay socked in as we have the warm air over the cooler waters of the gulf. really hard to say cool now that it's 71. but still you get the warm moist air over the gulf waters and it turns into thick fog. and when you get winds that come in out of the southwest to west, it pushes that fog inland. now, we saw fog a couple weeks ago but it didn't move in because the winds were not pushing it in. they are today. they will tomorrow. and they will again on thursday. we hit 82 today. normal is 76. even with the foggy start, once it lifted, burned off, you still were several degrees above normal. anywhere from hillsborough county and then polk county and desoto and highland, you were on the high side of normal. 10 degrees above normal. sunshine. fog in sarasota though. 74 with the dew point of 71. so it is muggy. it is warm. all those ingredients come together this time of year to give us serious fog concerns. and i'm telling you it will be the exact same thing tomorrow. you're probably going to want to set the alarm early. tune i
