had some severe weather late yesterday out to the west of us but that is all done look at how the coldts rain just really falls apart as this stuff pushes farther east from its upper level support farther out to the west. so, we are as a result looking at a mix of clouds and sun a little bit later this morning and very little, if any, precipitation today. up in allentown mainly clouds and sun less humid later in the afternoon. very warm, though, a high of 86 and it will still be a day where if you're out doing something you'll want to keep that cool water going. 78 degrees the high at the shore, a little warmer than it's been in recent days. windy but very nice down the shore. and in philadelphia, we're also going for a very warm afternoon high of 88 degrees, a mix of clouds and sun. sticky in the morning but less humid as we go through the afternoon and the winds will build during the day too eventually gusting as high as 30 miles per hour out of the southwest. that stronger wind that's actually going to miss some drier air from aloft and lower that humidity. 70 degrees by 8 o'clock.

we have some storms there moving in from the west. u can see some heavy rain associated with that. it is hitting a little bit of a roadblock a table it's a severe with an easterly wind that marine layer coming in from the ocean stabilize our atmosphere and stopping some of this heavy rain but it's making it into lancaster county and into person parts of chester county so honeybrook already saw some heavy rain today coatesville saw some this evening. you can see more heavy rain moving your way and also into delaware late tonight. otherwise, i think the rest of us will just see a few scattered showers. this is why we have that roadblock. that easterly flow with this back door front cooling things down stabilizing the atmosphere and right now we're seeing some patchy fog but all the storminess is basically staying to the west of this front and it will continue to be pushed toward the west. now, during the day tomorrow, we watch this cold front move if from the midwest. right now it's over ohio. temperatures in the 80's ahead of it. behind

it's windy, cooler less humid tonight, 56 for the low in philadelphia 51 north and west. look at the wind there, 15 to 20 miles an hour. so the wind generally dies down at night. tonight, it's going to be up there. at least or in the evening hours. then, during the day tomorrow it's kind of windy, too. northwest 10 to 20 gusting to 30 miles an hour. and we've got low humidity coming in along with the lower temperatures. so it increases the fire danger and doesn't help us with the pollen at all. now we're down into the 40s by thursday morning. even in the city we're down into the 40s. a high of only 71. so the normal high of 73 pretty close to average. pretty close to average. that's comfortable on friday. again, we need rain. saturday, just a chance of some showers. now it's going to be a warm weekend, the way it looks right now. and into the mid-80s on sunday. and what better chance of showers on sunday. neither day looks like a washout. and then we start cooling down next week and get at least temporarily into a pattern where we have some chances for rain. >> thanks hurr
