i'm interested in the historic data of water in the west. are we facing a knew crisis or are we seeing a return to a normal situation over the last thousand years or 10,000 years? i think that is an important question because it will inform a response. does anyone have a response? do you have any background? 's. >> a quick thought. as as an example -- we have about 100 years of streamflow data. that -- >> is the blink of the eye. >> the blink of the eye. the example i want to give, and the last 15 year drought the end streamflow the runoff is the lowest on record. through tree ring data there has been research that is highlighted that it's in the lowest 1st percentile of the last 1200 years. there are new mechanisms to look at the estimates of the runoff within the basin command we are at the lowest levels. we may have a similar reconstruction of data in other basins that we can now start comparing to really find out where we are and how significant is the drought because john is cyclic. >> i appreciate that. any further information, that's i

"action news" reporter katherine scott is live on the scene in west oak lane. hat's the latest on this story? >> reporter: well, tam that's right, two victims shot here last night and police say one of of the victims was a pregnant woman. she was around four months pregnant and she did lose her baby. the man believed to be her boyfriend and the father of that baby remains in stable condition at the hospital. she's in critical condition. this happened right over there by that utility pole here on the 7300 block of thouron avenue in west oak lane around 10 o'clock last night. witnesses told police they heard some sort of argument and then gun shots. when police arrived she was sitting in the passenger seat of a parked car. the engine was still running. the 32-year-old woman had been shot in her lower back. the 46-year-old man was lying nearby on the sidewalk. he had been shot several times in both legs. police believe the shooting happened outside the car after being shot they think the woman got in the front seat. >> she is still present in critical condition. it

let me go back to the tornado warning, to show you where we are talking about in chester county west oatesville you are not within this warning, mainly near exton as well as westchester south and east of king of prussia and glen mills but in the direct path is malverner berwyn moving across the main line. lets go back to double scan live radar, the storm velocity mode here, winds are moving away from the radar near westchester and grove, and the wind is moving towards the radar and the perfect signature on the velocity here for the rotation you would want the growns and reds to bump up and touch one another, we see a void of some of those winds in the grove there is some separation here a good sign but nonetheless you want to take shelter on route 100 and boot road and westchester and east goshen park you are under the gun for this moving in from the west right now and there you see the heaviest part of the storm that typically follows where there could be a tornado and that is typically ahead of the storm and you get the tremendous lightning and rain past where the rotation is moving
