i myself in the past have worked in construction, but i got out of the trains because of the lack of work. i do different work now, but i know plenty of people who have not been able to do that. they have not had the opportunity. they have not been blessed to transition. this is not about pitting worker against worker. for some unions to say that citybuild or ycd or abu are taking all the jobs from them is totally untrue and false. the fact is that because of the reports ms. lester did, 80% of the work is going to people outside of san francisco. that is not fair. we are talking about a fair distribution of the work between san francisco construction workers -- construction workers between san francisco and those who live outside of the city. this would make all of the difference in the world for our construction work force. i know plenty of people that are out of work, and journeymen and apprentices. we really support this. i think it will make a big difference for the people in bayview hunters point who suffer from the highest unemployment in the city, i believe. thank you. supervis

i am the owner and i have a tenant that is causing problems for me. always at work and calling the police, very destructive. he lived downstairs, under the stairs. he would go upstairs. i had to install cameras because he was destroying my property. one time i was working with an electrician and i left a letter on the front landing so that he could have access to the light fixture. when i got home a letter was not there. i asked him if he had seen the letter, he said that he did, it had disappeared. the reason that i hired the international game company to since i wrote -- install the gate for me, we knew what action had to be taken as far as permits. the gate is now situated, and there is one in the front also, it does not have a letter on both sides. you have to walk up the steps and it opens on for landing. the gate in the back is situated the same way. i do not like having it, to me it looks like a prison. it was installed because i was advised by the police to do that. they said that the way it was situated, he felt like it was open and that he could walk, that

i'm also proud of the work of my office because the hard-working men and women of the san francisco d.a.'s office are responsible for the highest conviction rates that we have had in san francisco in over 15 years. in the last few years, we have sent twice as many serious felons to state prison as had occurred before. there was a charging rate for crime that were brought to my office of around 50% when i took office and now it is over 70%. it is because of the important and good collaboration that is taking place between the men and women of the san francisco district attorney's office and the men and women of the san francisco police department. i'm proud of the work that we did earlier this year, most specifically as one example of many cases that we have been prosecuting, where in the early part of 2010 we took several, in fact, nine gang members before the grand jury. we produced over 77 witnesses that discussed the crimes that they were responsible for committing, which include murder, attempted murder, robbery, illegal possession of guns. the grand jury returned the documents in t

the schedule. we are well and truly working on the draft environmental impact report. we should have that out to the public made-winter -- mid- winter. we are in the process of working with mta staff to develop a locally preferred alternative and go through that process. that will be complete by next spring. and then project final selection will be this summer. it will complete the environmental impact report, and our goal is to construct the project, complete construction in 2013 or 2014, and open the project in 2015. on the actual cost, just to clarify, there is a cost estimate of somewhere around $125 million. there is also an upper in scale based on which alternative you choose and which type of vehicle you choose. that means that right now we have a current fleet of 47 vehicles, and we would draw that to about 60 vehicles, but they would not specifically be the same the hackles out right now. they would be newer vehicles. -- they would not specifically be the same vehicles out there right now. they would be brand-new vehicles, completely redesigned. the range we h
