kevin miller from phi theta kappa at western iowa tech. who's here to tell us more about a great fundraiser that helps both the haiti water project and siouxland food bank. beta zeta mu, the witcc chapter of phi theta kappa, an international honor society for two-year-college students, will host a silent auction nov. 10-12 to raise funds for two equally worthy projects, the food bank of siouxland's backpack program, which feeds chronically hungry children throughout the school year, including holidays and a water well project in haiti to help the people of a village to have access to clean water which is vital for the survival of hundreds of children in the village. the auction will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on tuesday (november 10) and thursday (november 12) and 10-3 p.m. on wednesday (november 11) and located in front of the western iowa tech college bookstore. among the more than 100 auction items are a desktop and lap top computers, tablets, jewelries, painting. there are also numerous gift certificatesrom area businesses for item
