in san jose, thom jensen nbc bay area news. >>> the standoff is over but the case is not closed. san jose police tell us they are still looking for the domestic violence suspect at the center of a more than 12-hour standoff. it happened in the seven hills community center. officers searched the home around 11:30 last night. the suspect was not there. an evacuation center was set up for neighbors who couldn't get into their home because the street was blocked off. >>> firefighters jumped into action when a woman needed help at china beach. the call came in about 9:45 this morning. it appears she got stuck on the cliff after swimming or hiking. a firefighter was lowered down to her, and she was put on a boat, taken back to shore. that woman is expected to be okay. >>> moving you forward, more omicron booster shots going into arms in the bay area. contra costa health services began offering a new shot at the evacuation center. at the richmond auditorium. the recently authorized booster shots are designed to protect against the original covid strain and the newer om variants. those 1
