in san francisco, thom jensen, nbc, bay area news.od city police are investigating after an 18 year old was shot and killed overnight. he was found around 140 this morning on a road right behind the whole foods market on jefferson avenue. that teenager was shot once in the torso and died on the scene. police believe this was an isolated event, but have not released any information about a possiblee suspect. san mateo is the latest peninsula city to call for the removal of the county's embattled sheriff. tonight, the city council held a no confidence vote to demand that sheriff cristina corpus be removed. the vote passed. millbrae and san carlos have already approved similar resolutions. corpus has repeatedly denied allegations against her that were revealed in an independent report, including those of abuse of power, nepotism and racism. voters will determine her future in a special election march 4th. that measure would give county supervisors the power to remove her from office. ousted oakland mayor sheng thao was back in federal co
