this is at thornton state bridge and the coast guard just within the past few minutes rescued her.r in the basket and they were able to take her away in the helicopter. the difficulty that rescuers had over the past six hours was that there were two dogs with her. they were pit bulls. and they were in protector mode. they were barking and threatening any rescuers that tried to rappel from the top of the cliff down to get her. so coast guard has her safely in their care right now. the next step is trying to figure out what to do with the dogs. at least one of those dogs still stuck on the side of the cliff. animal control is here on scene in daly city to try to take care of that. she was originally walking with a man here on top of the cliff. they both fell down with the dogs about midnight. they are going to have to figure out what these people were doing out there in the first place. the man had minor injuries. he will be okay. he was able to get himself up off the beach on his own. live in daly city, anne makovec, kpix 5. >>> delays continue for 580 heading through the livermore
