in terms of china, for over 30 years, since tiananmen square, i have had an issue about three things with china. of course, human rights. i am not excited about all the reports i have gotten from the country in that regard, but nonetheless, human rights, and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. technology, which they have been engaged in, lack of market access for our products there. privacy of our intellectual property. there were so many things, but corporate america was shelling -- selling insurance or getting bank stocks, so they won the day in that debate. people said to me at the time, you are wrong. peaceful evolution, and if we trade we will have more democratic freedom. we do not expect them to become a democracy, but we do expect them to release the prisoners from tiananmen square, not run over people in tanks, and remove them after they do it, which they did. it has been a fight about the same three things we talked about. security, economics, and values of governance. it is a big country. we are a big country and we need to find our past. i have been there even s
