my name is nicky, but i think tida ida has less of arrests, soi use that one.t, i have been here in the united states in the bay area since 1989 and i say and you that san francisco made me who i am. because, this is a city where you self, you can also do all most everything you want to do achieve, and there are a lot of great people here who are making sure that this city is going place for everybody. i worked for the san francisco community health center, formally known as api wellness center. i think many of you know that it is the home drop in center for the trans community and we courageously took a leap of faith to secure a building for 5 years, 6 thousand square foot. we have drop-in, you have counseling rooms. we have a beautiful open space that you can hold and so many more. and we also have recently, we took over navigation center. it a 86 bed facility, shelter and we provide different services over there, and now actually we do have a waiting list, which is really interesting because we want to make su one is out in the street. now transgender person

[applause] but certainly not least we have with us the ar nicky known as [applause] tida ida is a hivransjnder activist from ñáthe philippines. has worked with the san francisco aifilipino task force on aids and are currently works as a mmunity health center where she has been many years.initiatives to combat hiv and aids 90 and raised support for the transjnder w center and aid housing alliance in san francisco. she received numerous 'úq4awards for incredible contribution to transgender law center [indiscernible] asian ss grassroots award and san francisco pride--today continues to be active in the community through her work with the san francisco community health center. san francisco transmarch and transday of disability and so much more. to inspire and mentor young transwomen to be the change thsee here in san francisco. ida.
